to allow the rest of the day be about family. Please pass on the word
Well Hello all. i am back from the West and what an awesome experience. I was there for my 20th birthday and loved it. Now almost 25 years later I went back. Mountains are your backdrop and hilly road ways are your foot pattern and the ocean is magnificant. You can walk, run, bike, drive, water bus/taxi your way to any point of Vancouver. Other than my sister picking me up from the airport, we walked. The seawall, Gastown, YaleTown, Wes Van, Kitts, Stanley Park, Chinatown, Granville Island and all of downtown plus my sister lives in North Van and walked everyday down to the Seabus and had to walk back up, and I mean up to her apartment. On top of that we took the stairs up and down of her apartment complex. I haven't walked like that in forever. I saw, ate, drank my way thru the city and loved it. The city is respectful to both pedestrians, runners and cyclists alike. Dedicated lane for both especially in there park/trail system. If you have never been or it has been a while, plan a trip, It truly is AWESOME. Yes I will be going back on a regular basis however the next time I will hike Grouse Point and go over to Vancouver Island to take in more. So much to do and see.
