Today, Father's Day was the Boys Home event where you could walk, run, bike, cycle, etc in Bright's Grove . I took a wander down and watched at the turn on Kenwick and Hamilton all the families and individuals take part. It, again was a hot one at 8 am with not a lot of shade and minimal breeze. For those that wanted to race this event and are disappointed, please stop and take a minute and think about what you did. You participated, you finished, you were outside, you are able. Be thankful and share your experience finding the goodness that you did something for your community and with family and there is always another event that you can capture what you had set out to do maybe on a not so hot day. Nice work to all of you that did one of those events.
