ATB RESULTS 2014 - Find a Runner
Try putting in Sarnia, Mooretown, Brights Grove, Petrolia, Corunna and Lambton Shores to find all area runners.
This week will be recovery for all of the runners who took part in racing this weekend - so please take it easy and recover - you plans will tell you what to run.
Next week will start serious training for the Bridge Race and or any other summer race you plan on doing - please keep us up to date on your races so that we can plan your training for you. Cal will also be starting speed work on the track at St Pats shortly to help with your speed.
I am away for the next two week (Sick of the Cold Weather - hence in Florida) riding my bicycle and running on a beach (to heal the blisters on my feet - remember - Do as I say - not as I do!!!! "run in shoes you have tried out long runs before a race") = regeneration (and getting ready for Blue Nose Marathon - lots of work to do on that after the results from ATB!!!)
HOWEVER when I get back - the FIRST order of business will be video taping out side and form analysis. I would like to schedule April 25th Friday AM, and PM plus Sunday April 27th to do this. Please email me direct for when you want to schedule on these two days - firstname.lastname@example.org
The C25K group is quite large this time and it is really GREAT to see so many out getting into running. The word of the day is "SLOW" with "Gradual Progress". Try to stick to the program and defer to walking for 30 minutes should you feel the need to back off the running. A big THANKS to Jackie Jamieson who has stepped up to help with this session. Both Penny Parker and maybe Susan Beach (if the bridge race people do not need her this week) have also consented to help Jackie with the Monday and Wednesday sessions next week. These Ladies, Jackie, Penny and Susan have all been through exactly what you are going through now - beginning to run - so ask questions - they know. Stick to it people - it is absolutely worth it - KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK - plus ENJOY the experience and DO NOT STRESS - RELAX
