Training for the Women's Half and MoRun will continue as scheduled. Anyone who is not running the MoRun will switch over to do Aerobic Base training for the next six weeks.
This week on October 30 will be Feet on Fire's second anniversary - WOW - thanks so much to all of our past and present clients for their support and fabulous performances. All of you have made this a worthwhile effort for your three coaches
WE WOULD LIKE YOU TO CELEBRATE WITH US - at Ups & Downs (Front Street) on Wednesday night October 30th after running = 7PM - 7:30 PM until ????? Everyone is welcome - even if you are not a present client - please come and renew friendships - tell us what you have been doing and share in some munchies we will be providing. Drinks and any food ordered will be on your own tab. FoF have reserved a room upstairs so that we can talk and have fun on our own. We hope all of you will join us. PLEASE - you do not have to run Wednesday night - just join us at Ups & Downs.
Runners from recent races should bring their BLING to the party so that we can all see it - wear your race shirts too- it will be fun. You do not have to be a current member of FoF to join in
PLEASE NOTE - Celebration will take the place of the monthly talk scheduled for Wednesday hence we will warm up at 5:45 and run at 6PM
Assessment & review is always good - especially if the goal is improvement. We would like all of you to think about your performances during recent races and past training sessions. What was good and why? What was bad and why? What is necessary to change to get a better result? Once you have thought about this, we would like you to contact us to set up a meeting with, at least, one of the coaches. Which ever coach meets with you will take notes and then all three coaches will discuss the input and come back to each runner with our recommendations and suggestions for the future. The time frame for input will be during November and December with feed back to the runners in January. Please try to write down your thoughts so that they are concise for your meeting with a coach. This procedure will allow us to give each of you individual help. We also would like to hear what your next goal is so that we can design your training.
MoRun plans are continuing and we are hopeful that all of our Feet on Fire members will take part by either running one of the races or by volunteering. Thanks to all of those who have already signed up.
