Cal mentioned last week that we are at the height of training for our fall races. A couple of more long runs - then a taper to race day for Scotia and Niagara Falls. ALL the training will pay off - I am sure.
Some people have already done their fall race! - Congrats to Tony Carletti, Scott Allen for their 10K results with Angela Jenniskens, and Carol Ewasuik for their half marathon results today - I "think" there were some PR's - ask them because I am sure they will be willing to talk about their experiences!! - Ron Perron (Heather's Husband) also had a great time in his half.
It was Scott's first 10K race.
I will be going to Arkona on the 28th - early - for a long run in the hills - meet there for 7AM - at the park across from restaurant - usual meeting place - please let me know who will be joining me?

PLEASE let us try and support this cause and Noelle's memory. We would really like to attend as a group - a "Feet on Fire" group to show our support. Any one who has a FoF shirt is requested to wear it. If you don't have a Feet on Fire shirt - your last year's MoRun shirt would be good too. (OnEdge still has some FoF shirts for sale)
This week we will try out a WARM UP before our runs. Coaches will start a warm up 15 minutes before the runs on Monday and Wednesday night beginning at 5:45 PM. you can join in when you arrive however we will still try to start to run "on the hour" (6PM) Please note that the C25K will still warm up at 6PM with Dick - you do not need to come early.
By next week we will have a MO RUN poster for everyone to post on their face book page. We are counting on all of our members to advertise for us - more next week - mark your calender for our November 24th MO RUN supporting men's health issues.
