Welcome to all new Couch to 5k and of course our returning members. it is so nice to see everyone out, smiles on their faces and ready to learn. There will be some good days and there will be some not so good days however always go back and try to understand why it was not a good day. Tons of everyday life stuff factors in. Do not let it get to you. Tomorrow is another day. We, Cal, Dick and myself are always around to lend an ear to walk it thru with you.
Feet on Fire has decided to keep the current summer hours during the month of September because of the longer runs and also September can be hot hence getting the runs over before the intense heat of the day is still a good idea. 7AM on Saturday and Sunday with Friday being a 6:30 AM start [we will likely keep Friday at 6:30AM, even after the end of September, as it allows people to run and still get to work on time!] Monday and Wednesday nights will remain at 6PM for the runs:

In my quest for New York marathon I am finding myself at odds. This has been my goal to get to that start line but am struggling to understand my body, my health, my food and my time. I am learning that this will be my FINAL marathon, that my love for running is matched with coaching others to be successful and help them achieve their goals/dreams. What are your thoughts and feeling for your training. Are they the same as mine or different?
