Well, spring is here. A little taken aback this morning when you wake up to snow falling however all is melted and the sun is back out. New beginnings start on Monday, Couch to 5k and Bridge Clinic. Are you ready? Are you commited to this 10 week program? Are you going to give it your best each and every day you come out? WIll you have an excuse when the weather changes or you could be running late from work and don't know if you could make it all the way home and back again? It's 10 weeks for 3 x's a week on something that you have talked about, wanted to do but finding someway not to. We make it very easy. Great instructor - which is the perfect tool to keep you motivated, a program spelt out on exactly what will be happening on your training days but most important - a group of great athletes at all different ages, speed, abilities but one common goal - to accomplish what they signed up to do and finish it within the best of their abilities. Now all you need to do is call 519-339-8888 or show up Monday night, March 23rd about 5:30pm and sign up at OnEdge and then join in on the fun, hard work and most self satisfing way to a healthier you.
TAPER WEEK is here for all that are doing the famous 30k Around the Bay. Oh how fun it is to say, 8k and be done in about an 1hr. Race Day is this Sunday, Enjoy it and trust your training
Upcoming events are on the map. Two of them are on www.raceroster.com for both Bridge and Boys Home. Try one, Try both. Flat fast and the longest 2 in Sarnia.
Training Plans are up and NEW street routes/map are up as well. Please make sure you know them when we start this on Monday. Pick the plan for you that works for you not one that maybe your slower or fastest friend/running partner is doing. Injuries are not wanted so be aware of your body and exactly what it wants to do and take care of it with baths, physio's or massage appts. These keep you healthy and strong.
Enjoy this final full week of March as we head into April and its glory remembering what you want to do, why you are doing them and commit 100%. Yes it will be hard and sometimes punishing but guess what that accomplishment is so huge and the feeling that goes with is something you can never find until you are done.
