Speaking of local races, Feet on Fire is once again holding our MORUN race on Movember 23rd and we "think" we will have some really good additions to our race agenda and program - so stay tuned. We are also always looking for new ideas and sponsors hence "IF" you have an idea who might be willing to sponsor or help with our race coffers - please let us know
AND - more importantly - please go to the link below and sign up (early) so that we may buy the right number of items to support the race - PLEASE do not leave it until the last minute - leaving us guessing on who will show up - You know you want to do it - AND - chances are this year will be a "perfect" weather year since the first one was snow and the second was colder the the hubs of *&LL
Your coaches are trying something new because we want to be more attentive to all of our runners. We know most who run with us pay to belong to our group for the expressed purpose of having a training plan to train for an event AND to have coaching input - that is why we started FoF. Well sometimes we realize that not every group has someone to run with and we are going to try and correct this situation. You will know who you are running with by checking out the schedule on "This Week at FoF" where with each run will be listed the coach who will attempt to run and converse with everyone in their assigned group. Please note that this may not be for the total run however you will be able to see with which coach you should have attention from - on any particular night! This will give varied input and a more diverse opinion on your running style and questions which hopefully will help your progression as runners. It is still up to you to initiate the question process - we can not guess what you need help with or what questions you might have - so PLEASE - take advantage and talk to us during the runs. There still may be times when one group or the other may have to run on their own however this system will ensure that it is not always the same group on their own. Let us know how it is working with feed back.
Two of our runners became a couple this last weekend - congratulations to Lonna Seed and John Simpson who are now Mr & Mrs John Simpson. May your running always bring both of you joy and health - side note: John was introduced to running by Lonna and I am guessing running may be Lonna's only competition for John's affections!!!!!!
