C25K starts a week Monday on the 14th. Please spread the word. It will be training for the 5K at MoRun Sarnia which is always a heck of an event. Please pass the word because, especially with a C25K program, more people = more interaction and more fun. Those who have take C25K before, talk to us, since your participation "may" be free?? ASK.
WELL...... I am living the dream - both hands broken, with the right hand encumbered with a cast. Head aches have finally subsided and I hope the concussion (at least the worst of it) is behind me and I can finally breath without a catch in my ribs. = FORCED RECOVERY. I have to "walk the walk". Ladies and Gentlemen, the real job of every athlete is to recover. The running (training) part is easy. You only get better when you recover, SO.... keep this in mind as you are finishing up, probably the hardest, most rigorous part of your training. Make sure you are recovered before moving on. "IF" you feel you need to take a day off, then do so - you know how you feel. DO NOT do more that your training plan - even an extra cross training session, could over do it now - yes substitution is fine but EXTRA is a No NO. The one thing I know for sure is that "IF" you do not start a race, you will not finish. "IF" you start a little under trained, you may still finish and surprise yourself. Please Please Please pay attention to how you feel right now and do NOT beat yourself up for taking a day off and do NOT try to catch up. (OK - enough preaching)

Nicholle's run on October 3rd supports local school programs - a great cause and a night run is always fun - AND - they have a party afterwards - usually at NORMS!!
MORUN Sarnia will be on Movember 22nd with Chili and beer again - Please support men's health - a great cause.
